136kHz WSPR - first report received
Well, it is no great DX at 3km away in the next village, but I've now received my first WSPR report on 136kHz from G6ALB. He gave me -21dB S/N when I was running 20uW ERP from the earth electrode antenna.
I think I have quite a few improvements to make to my136 kHz reception capability.
RX is an AOR7030, my more usual choice of an FT900 isn’t good on 136 since I’m getting a lot of broadcast band breakthrough. But I need to use an ATU or at least a bandpass filter.
Our 500 kHz experiments were "much" easier than this :)
