My first DX was Radio South Africa (RSA) and I was very happy when I first heard it. The pause tune was a local bird. And which is also in here. When I first picked up that station on my Hallicrafters S38 in 1956, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Imagine, a kid in northern New York state listening to Africa in his bedroom during mid-winter.
