My father's line can be traced without break back to the mid 1500s in Hope Cove, Devon, UK.
In the next parish I have one record from 1427!
We have probably been hereabouts for thousands of years.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

It's possible especially on your maternal line. My understanding is that recent DNA work shows that when the Saxons arrived they displaced the previous male line almost entirely. The Devon/Dorset coast was very heavily settled by Saxons.
Unfortunately history isn't always what we might prefer to believe.
A good example being some Scotish Isles that have an oral history of strongly resisting the Vikings have been shown by DNA to be almost 100% descended from Vikings.
