This photo of Birkitts shop in Lincoln was taken 2 years ago. I have no idea if it is still there. At one time all sorts of parts were sold. I think the owner died a few years ago.

Yes, it’s still in operation, being run by John Birkett’s daughter, but with limited opening hours.

Thanks Keith. Lincoln is a great place, if a bit steep!
I live near to the castle and the Lincolnshire Life museum. Walking into town is OK, but back home with shopping - not so much….!
